Visitors take part in guided tours that typically last around an hour. These tours allow close interactions with animals such as baby crocodiles, boa constrictors, white-tailed deer, and turtles. Guests can also observe spider monkeys and meet the Xoloitzcuintle, Mexico’s ancient hairless dog breed. Throughout the tour, guides share educational insights focused on conservation and native wildlife habitats, making it a popular choice for families and nature lovers.
The zoo is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and admission includes access to all exhibits and activities. It’s conveniently located along Federal Highway 307, about 35 minutes from Cancún and a short drive from Puerto Morelos. Visitors can arrive by car, local buses, or shared minivans, which regularly stop near the entrance. On-site amenities include a café, gift shop, rest areas, and a small playground, all designed to support a comfortable and educational visit.
